Antti Rauhala is a participant in the 2025 European Leadership Accelerator hosted by the Atlantic Council’s Millennium Leadership Program. He is a public policy expert specializing in the clean energy transition. Currently, he serves as a programme officer at the International Energy Agency (IEA), where he leads the implementation of initiatives advancing the clean energy transition, including EU4Energy policy roadmaps. He also coordinated IEA’s strategic engagements for the twenty-ninth United Nations Conference of the Parties. Previously, Rauhala co-developed the Blue Dot Network at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, designing the first global certification for quality infrastructure and supporting its global launch in 2024. Rauhala holds an MPhil in Russian and East European studies from the University of Oxford and has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, and global multilateral collaboration and regional projects across Europe and Central Asia. With a passion for bridging diverse communities and fostering practical solutions, Rauhala seeks to contribute his expertise to shaping inclusive and forward-thinking policies for Europe’s green and digital transitions.
