The Atlantic Council’s Europe Center will host a conversation on US and EU transatlantic tech and digital affairs on Thursday, March 27 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET.
As the United States and the European Union (EU) navigate an era of increased great power competition, rapid technological advancements, and rising geopolitical uncertainty, the transatlantic partnership in the digital and technology policy space remains crucial. Digital and technology policy also particularly matters for the trade and national security agendas for both sides of the Atlantic. However, differing regulatory approaches and strategic priorities may challenge closer transatlantic collaboration, especially against the backdrop of retaliatory tariffs across the Atlantic.
This expert panel will discuss the state of US-EU tech and digital cooperation, the agendas on both sides of the Atlantic, and opportunities to strengthen US-EU ties in the trade, digital, and tech spaces.
This conversation will take place virtually. To attend virtually, please register above.
