  • 2026–27 Millennium Fellow

Emily Marks is a 2026–27 Millennium fellow and managing director, corporate reputation and global client leader at Edelman, a global communications firm. In her sixteen-year tenure, she has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to C-suite leaders navigating some of the most complex reputation, trust, and stakeholder challenges facing global business today. Marks serves as global client leader for Starbucks, stewarding one of the firm’s most significant client relationships across markets, specialties, and sectors. She advises senior executives on corporate reputation strategy, issues and crisis management, and stakeholder engagement, bringing both strategic rigor and a deeply human approach to the challenges that define modern leadership. A student of the Edelman Trust Barometer, Marks has spent her career convening conversations about how trust is built, broken, and rebuilt between institutions and the people they serve—and translating those insights into action for global brands. Marks is a graduate of the University of Michigan, an active member of her synagogue’s social justice community, and a competitive paddle tennis player. She is based in Chicago, where she was raised.
