On Friday, January 10, at 1:00 p.m. ET, the Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center (AALAC) hosted a virtual discussion on the trends and issues most likely to drive political and economic change in the Americas in 2025.
Leading journalists from the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, La Nación, and Bloomberg discussed the most significant developing stories in the region, including the ongoing attempt by Nicolás Maduro to cling to power in Venezuela, Argentina’s economic reforms, and the future of US-Mexico relations.
This virtual conversation drew on the questions raised in AALAC’s December publication, “Latin America and the Caribbean in 2025: Ten predictions to shape the year ahead.”
