Event description

A thriving technological sector will be key to social, political, and economic development in countries around the world. Governments must learn to support innovation in order to maintain an edge in the global economy and in geopolitics while balancing the interests of the private sector, public sector, and consumers. Leaders need to ensure that stakeholders and citizens have trust in both technology and in government in order to facilitate smooth integration of the two. The Atlantic Council’s GeoTech Center is pleased to host a conversation with leaders from the Office of Management and Budget, industry, and the public sector on how governments can proactively engage with and encourage innovation.

Our panelists will discuss questions such as: How can government officials support innovation within their federal agencies and organizations? What does effective public-private collaboration look like when it comes to governmental digital transformation? And how can technology be utilized to improve public services and public trust in government?

Join us for a GeoTech Hour focused on public-private partnerships, technology, and the future of digital policy.
