The Atlantic Council is pleased to host a private roundtable conversation featuring The Hon. William D. Magwood IV on Tuesday, April 29, from 1:00 – 2:30 PM ET. The roundtable will take place at the Atlantic Council’s new global headquarters (1400 L Street NW, Washington, DC 20005).
The Hon. William D. Magwood IV is the director-general of the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency, a former commissioner of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and former director of nuclear energy at the US Department of Energy.
Director-General Magwood will address considerations for deploying nuclear energy technologies at scale, the opportunities and challenges of emerging markets in non-OECD countries, and approaches to nuclear project finance.
This conversation will take place under the Chatham House Rule.
