On Thursday, September 17 at 10:30 a.m. ET, the Atlantic Council’s Europe Center will host a conversation with Prime Minister of North Macedonia Hristijan Mickoski on his country’s strategic partnership with the United States, its economic future, and its path toward the European Union.

As security competition intensifies across Europe, Mickoski will discuss his vision for North Macedonia’s role as a stable, reliable NATO ally, and the opportunities to deepen US-North Macedonia cooperation on defense and security. The conversation will also explore how US capital and investment can strengthen North Macedonia’s economy and its broader integration with Western markets.

This event is part of the Europe Center’s #BalkansForward Initiative, which promotes the region’s political and economic advancement through Euro-Atlantic integration.

New policy: In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival, and no on-site registration will be permitted. Guests will not be admitted later than twenty minutes after the event’s start time.
