Event description

The Atlantic Council GeoTech Center invites you to join colleagues for a private roundtable on the Future of Health Surveillance. This event will bring Federal leaders together from across the government to discuss the opportunities and challenges for collecting and using population-level data to advance public health, including identifying and containing disease outbreaks, maintaining food safety, and understanding behavioral and sociodemographic health risk factors.

At this roundtable you will learn from federal technology leaders about:

  • advances in digital strategies, information technologies, data analytics, and applications that can enable rapid, useful, and robust insights from population-level data;
  • how agencies can use real-world data to enhance public health, including through artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligent automation; and
  • the importance of data infrastructure and interoperability for health surveillance.
