As the global community continues to grapple with the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Atlantic Council is open for business. Our business, meetings, and events, however, are occurring virtually. For more information, please read an update from our President and CEO.
Please join an event jointly hosted by the Atlantic Council’s GeoEconomics Center and the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) for the invite-only portion of our event on secondary sanctions – global impact, compliance and legal conflicts. This virtual roundtable will take place on Wednesday 10th February at 10 am EST.
This private, off-the-record, roundtable will focus on the foremost global compliance considerations associated with the implementation of secondary sanctions. We will discuss the evolving scope of secondary sanctions, principal compliance implementation considerations, and challenges faced by globally operating financial institutions and corporates in managing an evolving context of blocking regulations and wider conflicting cross-border sanctions obligations.
