The Atlantic Council Global Energy Center is seeking applications for the Veterans Advanced Energy Fellowship, a one-year fellowship program that seeks to cultivate a cadre of leaders to perpetuate national security considerations in their respective advanced energy sectors.
Now entering its fifth cohort, the Fellowship develops leaders to become peer mentors, advocates, and spokespeople for other veterans, reservists, and military spouses, and solidifies the advanced energy connection to national security and the mission-driven progress of veterans’ employment in advanced energy industry, policy, or advocacy. Advanced energy is defined by leading-edge energy technologies including solar, wind, batteries, geothermal, microgrids, advanced nuclear, electric vehicles, end-user energy efficiency, among other innovations.
On Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm ET, the Global Energy Center will host an informational session for applicants interested in the 2024-2025 program. Attendees will hear from Kevin Doffing, Director of the Veterans Advanced Energy Project as well as current fellows about their experiences. Register here to secure your place in the session and to receive the Zoom link.
