Dr. Edmond Fernandes is a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council’s South Asia Center. He is a community health physician leading efforts for CHD Group which is a public health organization, headquartered in Mangalore, India. He is a US State Department alumni and member – Health Task Force, DDMA, Government of Karnataka. He actively writes for the Times of India and other national dailies, has authored 2 books and travels around the world for engagements related to global health, policy, and humanitarian emergencies.
