Henrique Arevalo Poincot is a visiting fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Freedom and Prosperity Center. A strategy and communications specialist with expertise spanning Europe and Latin America, Arevalo Poincot is currently pursuing his master’s degree in democracy and governance at Georgetown University. He also serves as a research assistant in Georgetown’s Department of Government, where he contributes to projects related to elections, political parties, and the intersection of democracy and technology.

Previously, Arevalo Poincot was an associate director at Highgate, a London-based strategic advisory firm. In this role, he developed and implemented strategies for political advisory, dispute resolution, and special situations. His clients included sovereign entities, corporations, and civil society organizations.

Arevalo Poincot holds a BS in politics from King’s College London. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
