Jason Emert is a participant in the 2024 Executive Leadership Intensive and of counsel at Blank Rome LLP. His practice focuses on international arbitration, government affairs, national security, government investigations, and economic sanctions. Additionally, Emert is an officer in the United States Air Force serving as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate for the 134th Air Refueling Wing in the Tennessee Air National Guard. Emert formerly led a European-based nongovernmental organization where he worked with civil society organizations and political parties on human rights, the rule of law, and democratization.

Emert is an adjunct professor of international law at Lincoln Memorial University, and previously taught courses at various universities on international relations, world politics, and national security. Similarly, Emert has served as a legal specialist for the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative in Bosnia, an arbitrator for the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo Arbitration Center, and has chaired the International Law Committee of the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.
