Jen Chaquette was a nonresident senior fellow with the Forward Defense practice at the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security. Additionally, she is currently a Senior Manager for Corporate Strategy at SAIC, where she works with company leadership to define and implement the company’s multi-year strategic and business objectives.
Previously, Ms. Chaquette spent eight years as a consultant at Renaissance Strategic Advisors, a strategy consulting firm specializing in the global defense, space, government services, and related technology markets. She led dozens of engagements providing corporate strategy, market and competitive analysis, and mergers and acquisition due-diligence services to executive-level corporate clients and financial sponsors. Ms. Chaquette spends considerable time researching and developing thought leadership around the role of commercial technology in the federal marketplace, across domains ranging from IT systems to space systems and to defense electronics. She also helped lead Renaissance Strategic Advisors’ work in the space sector, with an emphasis on advising clients about shifting architectures and technologies in the space domain, as well as helped non-traditional contractors (international and commercial) seeking opportunities to work with the federal government.
Prior to Renaissance Strategic Advisors, Ms. Chaquette worked at the US Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. Ms. Chaquette is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, earning a bachelor of arts, magna cum laude, in political science and urban studies. Ms. Chaquette serves on the Industry Outlook team for the Professional Services Council, is a past national board member of Women in Defense, and is an active member of the University of Pennsylvania alumni community in Washington, DC.
