Justin Mallen is a nonresident senior fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Global China Hub. Mallen founded Silk Road Telecommunication (SRT) in 2000 as a corporate telecom services provider focusing on mobile cloud corporate solutions. As part of its broad corporate services package, SRT maintains a large network neutral internet data center in Eastern China. SRT’s branded product platform, E-Zhanguan, provides companies with the ability to reduce corporate costs while increasing operational efficiencies. SRT’s goal is to help companies simplify their business. Growing from Mallen’s leadership, SRT has expanded to provide corporate services in over twenty-eight provinces in China and four countries (Thailand, Vietnam, India, and the Philippines).
Mallen has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, CNN, CNBC, South China Morning Post, and numerous publications within China. He is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences including the World Economic Forum. Mallen graduated with honors in Chinese history from Bowdoin College. He grew up in San Francisco and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
