Kate Springs is a program assistant in the Strategic Litigation Project at the Atlantic Council. Previously, she was a young global professional with the Atlantic Council’s Rafik Hariri Center & Middle East Programs.

Before joining the Atlantic Council, she interned for the humanitarian organization Mercy Corps. She has also interned with the Center for Peace Diplomacy and has researched international justice in the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Additionally, she worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the Transitional Justice Evaluation Tools project, which tracks human rights accountability mechanisms throughout the world.

Springs graduated from Tulane University, where she studied global history and international development. Her honor thesis, based on research conducted in rural Nepal, focused on women’s experiences during Nepal’s Civil War.
