Lukas Savickas is a 2022 Atlantic Council Millennium Leadership fellow, the deputy chair of the Union of Democrats, and a member of the Lithuanian Parliament. He is also vice chair of the Committee for the Future and a member of the Economics Committee. Savickas’s political interests include attaining a green, innovative, and digital economy. Savickas is also highly enthusiastic about change management, policy advocacy, and evidence-based policymaking.

From 2016 to 2020, Savickas served as an adviser to the prime minister and the first deputy chancellor of the Lithuanian government.

Savickas obtained a bachelor’s degree in politics and international relations at University of York in 2011 and a master’s degree in European public affairs at Maastricht University in 2012.
