Stephanie Connor is a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council GeoEconomics Center’s Economic Statecraft Initiative. Connor is a partner at Holland & Knight LLP, where she practices in the firm’s public policy and regulation group. Connor advises clients on matters arising under the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions, US anti-money laundering regulations, Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States regulations, and the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Connor served as OFAC’s assistant director of policy and assistant chief counsel. Prior to joining OFAC, Connor worked in private practice for multinational law firms in Washington, DC. She began her career in international public health and development, and has lived and worked in Africa, Asia, and Europe.
