Wen-Ti Sung is a nonresident fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Global China Hub. He is a sessional lecturer in the Australian National University’s College of Asia and the Pacific, and a member of the Australian Centre on China in the World. A political scientist by training, his research focuses on the US-China-Taiwan trilateral relations, with particular interests in Taiwanese politics, Chinese leadership tracking, and US epistemic community.Sung’s writings in these areas have appeared on the Conversation, CSIS PacNet, the Interpreter, East Asia Forum, and the Diplomat. Sung speaks Mandarin Chinese and is a Chinese columnist for Up Media and Yahoo News Taiwan.

Sung has been quoted by outlets such as the New York TimesWall Street JournalWashington Post, and Time magazine. He has also appeared on CNN, BBC, Bloomberg, Reuters, Agence France-Presse, ABC, and the National Public Radio, among others.
