On March 2, Aude Darnal testified before the House Foreign Affairs subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, and Global Human Rights on the topic of Elections in Africa. She highlighted some of the challenges tainting electoral processes on the continent, and discussed some of the lessons learned and pitfalls US policy makers should consider to rethink US engagement in the region, and its strategy to support African countries advancing democracy and free, fair and credible elections.
