On February 28, Markus Garlauskas, a nonresident senior fellow at the Asia Security Initiative, was quoted in Reuters on the impact of Russian missile use in Ukraine. As many countries in the Indo-Pacific are facing increased security concerns and developing their own missiles, Garlauskas argues that “North Korean and Chinese militaries are taking copious notes right now,” he concluded.
