On December 29, GCH Nonresident Fellow Wen-Ti Sung shared his thoughts on the appointment of former Navy Chief Dong Jun as the PRC’s new defense minister in Reuters. Sung was also quoted in a Radio Free Asia article discussing the appointment of Hu Zhongming to replace Dong Jun as Navy Chief.
