On November 9, Forward Defense Nonresident Senior Fellow Evanna Hu co-wrote an article for the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists titled “Here’s how Russia’s RT spread propaganda in the lead-up to the election.” The article discusses how Omelas, of which she is CEO, analyzed the ways in which propaganda from Russian government-funded media organization RT released significant sensationalist coverage on the US racial justice movement, feeding into opinion on the presidential election.
