On May 6, Forward Defense Nonresident Senior Fellow Evanna Hu participated in a panel as part of the US Army’s Mad Scientist Initiative‘s “Are We Doing Enough, Fast Enough?” webinar series. In the panel, titled “Young Minds on Competition and Conflict,” Hu commented on the implications of grey zone warfare, blurring the line between peace and conflict in the twenty-first century.
Forward Defense, housed within the Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security, generates ideas and connects stakeholders in the defense ecosystem to promote an enduring military advantage for the United States, its allies, and partners. Our work identifies the defense strategies, capabilities, and resources the United States needs to deter and, if necessary, prevail in future conflict.
