Running from November 1st to November 11th in parallel to COP26, each day Atlantic Council Live from COP26 tackled a different set of issues, thematically linked to the conference schedule. The livestreams featured up to one hour of original daily web programming covering major events, themes, and developments at COP26. Regular segments include fireside chats, panels, and major climate announcements.

Can innovation save the planet?

Day three’s event, “Paving the way with climate innovation,” featured Breakthrough Energy founder and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates; US climate envoy John Kerry; Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) special envoy for climate change and minister of industry and advanced technology; and Kenyan Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs Raychelle Omamo. The event was moderated by Atlantic Council President and CEO Fred Kempe.
