About the Program

The Millennium Leadership Intensive (MLI) is the distillation of the key Millennium Leadership offerings in an action-packed three-month program sprint. This  hybrid program brings together global impact driven professionals, including  Millennium Fellowship alumni, long-standing organizational partners, and exceptional young leaders new to the network. MLI provides a robust leadership curriculum primarily focused on the adaptive leadership framework, developed at the Harvard Kennedy School and delivered by KONU. Participants will also receive a leadership diagnostic assessment provided by Spencer Stuart.

“There are lessons I can take with me from this study tour of how to handle leadership challenges—confront difficult realities, be bold, have a vision beyond the next steps, see the world through many people’s eyes, and recognize mistakes.”

Fred Post, senior portfolio strategist, Bridgewater Associates (Millennium Leadership Intensive 2024)

To equip next-generation leaders with insights into the most pressing foreign policy challenges, MLI will return to Israel and the Palestinian territories in 2025, with an additional visit to a member state of the Abraham Accords. By engaging with leading political, economic, and civil society figures from across the political spectrum, participants will emerge with an enriched understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and opportunities for the region. The program goes beyond traditional leadership training—it challenges participants to think deeply about the dynamics of adaptive leadership, particularly in high-stakes, complex environments.
