On November 16, IPSI Nonresident Senior Fellow Markus Garlauskas appeared on an episode of “Intelligence Matters” on CBS News. Host Michael Morell, former acting director of the CIA, interviewed Garlauskas on the threat posed by North Korea’s nuclear weapons. Garlauskas spoke on North Korea’s potential use of weapons for operational missions, discussed the declared US policy to assure North Korea that use of a nuclear weapon would lead to the destruction of the regime, and identified China as a North Korea enabler.
