Pauline Deschryver is a participant in the 2025 European Leadership Accelerator hosted by the Atlantic Council’s Millennium Leadership Program. She is also a senior manager at DTEK Group, a private energy investor in Eastern and Southern Europe (and the largest one in Ukraine), where she structures and negotiates international financing for energy projects; she also coordinates the transition pathway of the group from the financing side. Deschryver has a decade of experience in the energy and infrastructure sector in postcrisis and conflicted states and is passionate about contributing to a more sustainable future by accelerating the energy transition. She has worked with governments, multilateral organizations, and the private sector on investment projects aimed at developing long-term infrastructure in emerging and developing economies. Since 2024, she has served as a board member of an impact fund focused on energy and water. Prior to that, Deschryver spent several years with the International Finance Corporation, beginning and implementing investment projects focused on energy, water, and telecom across Africa, as well as building strategies to accelerate growth and development across the continent. Deschryver has a dual master’s degree from HEC and Sciences Po Paris and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
