Croatian Parliament Approves New Defense Minister

From Focus News Agency:  Croatia’s parliament on Wednesday backed a reshuffle of Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor‘s government in a bid to revive the economy in the recession-hit country, AFP reports.

Career diplomat Davor Bozinovic takes over the defence portfolio from Branko Vukelic, allegedly linked by the media with a shipyard corruption affair.

From Croatia’s Ministery of Defense:  Minister of Defense Davor Bozinovic has a BA, MA and PhD in Political Science, from the Faculty of Political Science, at the University of Zagreb.

He is the author of the book "Mutual Transition NATO – EU – Southeast Europe" (2010), and co-authored the book "NATO – Euro-Atlantic Integration" (2008).  (photo: dalje.com)
