From NATO:  Over the past 24 hours, NATO has conducted the following activities associated with Operation UNIFIED PROTECTOR :

Air Operations
Since the beginning of the NATO operation (31 March 2011, 06.00GMT) approximately 19,000 sorties, including 7,000 strike sorties*, have been conducted.

Approximate sorties conducted 16 AUGUST: 100
Approximate strike sorties conducted 16 AUGUST: 50

*Strike sorties are intended to identify and engage appropriate targets, but do not necessarily deploy munitions each time.

1 Anti-aircraft gun
5 Military Vehicles
2 Surface to Air missile trailers
1 Surface to Air missile launchers
1 Command and Control node

Arms Embargo Activities
A total of 15 ships under NATO command are actively patrolling the Central Mediterranean.
13 Vessels were hailed on 16 AUGUST to determine destination and cargo. No boardings (no denials) were conducted.
Approximately of 2200 vessels have been hailed, 200 boardings and 10 denials have been conducted since the beginning of arms embargo operations.
