On Wednesday, February 22, 2012, the Atlantic Council hosted a strategy session with Admiral Jonathan W. Greenert, Chief of Naval Operations.
Admiral Greenert provided an overview of key concerns and challenges facing the US Navy. In addition, he discussed future innovations and force development evolution within the service, and efforts to maintain a global presence and enhance the Navy’s execution of the President’s new Defense Strategy Guidance.
