On January 25, the Atlantic Council and Thomson Reuters hosted Richard Berner, Director of the Office of Financial Research, U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Since the devastating financial crisis of 2007-2009, the OFR has strived to improve the quality, scope, and accessibility of financial data, bringing forward numerous improvements and enhancing cooperation between regulators and financial actors. This in turn, makes financial markets more efficient and resilient.
