Minister Prat-Gay has been a busy man: in just three months he has negotiated a deal with Argentina’s holdout creditors, lifted capital controls, and scrapped most export taxes – all in the name of gradual economic reform. He comes to Washington to re-engage with international financial markets at the annual meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.

Join us on April 14 for the Minister’s keynote speech at the Atlantic Council. Minister Prat-Gay will address Argentina’s economic agenda, the impact of a newly-strengthened relationship with the United States, and how the Macri administration plans to guide the country into a more market-friendly, economically stable future.

This event will be co-hosted by the Atlantic Council's Global Business & Economics Program and the Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center.

We hope you can join us. This event will be public and on-the-record.
