Africa is the continent with the youngest and fastest growing population in the world. Over seventy percent of Africans are below the age of thirty. To gain insight on the opinions and aspirations of this diverse and pivotal group, the Ichikowitz Family Foundation has pioneered an African Youth Survey, sampling young adults from fourteen African nations. The report endeavors to transform the global narrative on Africa, laying out evidence of a growing Afro-optimism and delving into perspectives on democracy, identity, technology, and foreign relations, among other topics.
Please join the Atlantic Council’s Africa Center at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, for the Washington, DC launch of the Ichikowitz Family Foundation’s African Youth Survey, featuring a panel discussion with Mr. Akwasi Frimpong, Dutch-Ghanaian athlete and Olympian and Ms. Cathy Hartman, Executive Vice President of PSB Research, the report’s research partner.
