The Atlantic Council—in partnership with Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power (KHNP)—is pleased to host a conference addressing the opportunities for civil nuclear cooperation between the US and the Republic of Korea (ROK). The event will take place at the Atlantic Council (1030 15th Street NW, Washington, DC) on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, from 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM ET.
This public conversation will highlight the role of civil nuclear cooperation between the US and the Republic of Korea. The panel discussions will address the potential for greater cooperation between the two countries in tripling nuclear power generation by 2050, developing the nuclear energy workforce of the future, and deploying the next generation of nuclear energy technologies.
