Please join the Atlantic Council for its first Brain Trust meeting of 2023 on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET in person and via Zoom. This meeting will feature remarks from Diego Scharifker, the Council’s director for corporate sponsorships and partnerships, who will advise on best practices for fellows to engage with our Development team. In addition, we will hear from a panel of fellows presenting on their work examining strategic competition in the Global South. Presenters include Sarah Daly, a nonresident fellow in the Africa Center who recently co-authored a report entitled, Russia’s Influence in Africa, A Security Perspective; Jonathan Fulton, a nonresident senior fellow for the Atlantic Council’s Middle East Programs and the Scowcroft Middle East Security Initiative, who has written and spoken on China’s influence in the Middle East, including hosting the China-MENA Podcast; and Pepe Zhang, a senior fellow in the Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center, who manages the center’s China-Latin America portfolio.
