The Wilson Center’s Mexico Institute and the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht Latin American Center are pleased to host Senator Armando Rios Piter, who recently announced his bid for the 2018 Mexican presidential election as an independent candidate.
On May 5, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (EDT), Senator Ríos Piter will join Ambassador James Jones, former US ambassador to Mexico and CEO of Manatt Jones Global Strategies; Jason Marczak, director of the Latin America Economic Growth Initiative at the Atlantic Council; as well as Duncan Wood, director of the Mexico Institute to discuss current US-Mexico relations and its implications for the Mexican economy.
