On October 29 at 1:30 pm ET, the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security and Global China Hub will host a virtual #ACFrontPage conversation with US Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi, ranking member of the House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

This discussion takes place just ahead of the summit between US President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping—their first meeting during the second Trump administration—and amid growing tensions over trade, technology access, and geopolitical rivalry.

Krishnamoorthi will share insights on the trajectory of the US-China relationship at this critical moment, the stakes of the Trump-Xi summit, and his vision for a strategy to win the competition with the CCP.

The event will be livestreamed on Atlantic Council TV, YouTube, Facebook, and X.
