An address and discussion with
David Zolet
Executive Vice President and General Manager
CSC North America Public Sector

Moderated by
Jason Healey
Director, Cyber Statecraft Initiative, Brent Scowcroft Center on International Security
Atlantic Council

Cloud computing. Big data analytics. Cybersecurity. These are among the contemporary siren calls from information technology revolution that continues to transform our lives in often-unimaginable ways. However, as demonstrated by the travail of the Healthcare.gov website and mixed record of information system acquisition programs, the federal government often struggles to harness these technologies well. Our featured speaker, David Zolet, leads the North American Public Sector business of CSC, a global leader in providing next-generation information technology services and solutions to both government and commercial customers. His remarks will address what industry and government can do to harness these wonders of the information age so that warfighters enjoy advanced information technology that is reliable, cost-effective, and resilient, both in peace and in war.

The Atlantic Council Captains of Industry Series is a platform from which senior defense industry executives address the public interests their companies serve and the public policies that shape their markets. By engaging the perspective of business leaders about issues at the interface of defense ministries and industries, the Council is cultivating a constituency for practical solutions to these problems.
