Please join the Atlantic Council's Cyber Statecraft Initiative on Tuesday, November 10 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. for a conversation with the Hon. John P. Carlin, Assistant Attorney General for National Security at the US Department of Justice. Following his keynote remarks, the audience will have an opportunity to engage in a Q&A moderated by Mr. Benjamin Wittes, Editor in Chief at Lawfare.
Assistant Attorney General Carlin will address the current national security threat landscape and recent trends in the US government's approach to disrupting cyber threats. He will also discuss the agreement between the United States and China on cyber-enabled theft of trade secrets; the US government's response to the Sony hack in 2014; and the recent arrest and charges against a hacker who stole the personal identifying information of over 1,000 US military and other government personnel and provided them to ISIS.
