Please join the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center on Tuesday, May 25th from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. EDT for the Spring 2021 edition of the Atlantic Council’s natural gas roundtable. The meeting will convene key stakeholders from the public and private sectors and feature discussions with and presentations from industry experts.

The past year has been a major challenge to the global natural gas industry, though as demand rebounds the industry faces the need to define its role in a rapidly accelerating energy transition. As global demand for natural gas continues to grow in an uncertain regulatory environment, it is becoming clear that for gas to remain a driver of the energy transition, its carbon footprint needs to be minimized at all stages of the supply chain.

This roundtable will feature two panel discussions: Creating Common Standards for Natural Gas Lifecycle Emissions and The Role of LNG in a Net-Zero World.
