As the global community continues to grapple with the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Atlantic Council is open for business. Our business, meetings, and events, however, are occurring virtually. For more information, please read an update from our President and CEO.

Event description

Space has captured the imaginations of countless peoples through generations. Yet the state of the art has only recently produced game-changing technologies that enable the next major leap forward in space exploration. The Atlantic Council’s GeoTech Center is pleased to host a conversation with leaders in space policy and CEOs from breakthrough venture-backed space technology companies that are proving the economics of accessing, exploring, and even manufacturing in space are not what we thought they were. This discussion will also consider what’s necessary to encourage public investment in future space infrastructure and private endeavors, as well as how a constructive space regulatory regime can reap greater benefits from space exploration.
