Speakers to be announced soon.

Trade tensions in recent years have so far produced a limited impact on economic growth, besides a sharp slow-down in global trade and weakened business confidence. However, escalating and protracted trade turbulences, specially among China and the US, may further hinder vulnerabilities. In its flagship Global Financial Stability Report, the International Monetary Fund details in depth these and other scenarios following larger trade disruptions. On July 10, the expert panel will explore downside risks to the American and global economy, and how they might materialize.

Join us on Monday, July 10, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Atlantic Council headquarters (1030 15th Street, NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC 20005) for what promises to be a timely and informative discussion. This event is on-the-record and open to the media. A light lunch will be served.
