On January 25, in Ankara, Turkey the Atlantic Council IN TURKEY & Turkey Programs Center and Europe Center organized a roundtable on digital policy in Turkey. The discussion focused on the significance of Turkey’s digital policies in the digital regulatory debate globally and the impact indigenous digital regulations will have on Turkish and international firms in the tech sector. The roundtable was moderated by Atlantic Council Europe Center Senior Director Jörn Fleck. Atlantic Council IN TURKEY & Turkey Programs Senior Director Defne Arslan delivered opening remarks. Prof. Kerem Cem Sanlı, Director of the Competition Law Research Center, Istanbul Bilgi University, also delivered remarks.

The Atlantic Council in Turkey, which is in charge of the Turkey program, aims to promote and strengthen transatlantic engagement with the region by providing a high-level forum and pursuing programming to address the most important issues on energy, economics, security, and defense.
