Will the trade agenda advance in 2015?

Days after senior TPP negotiators meet in New York, join the Atlantic Council's Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center and Global Business and Economics Program, in partnership with Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, for a discussion on the possibilities of advancing global commerce negotiations this year, particularly the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

Congressman Dave Reichert, a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee and Co-Chair of the Friends of TPP Caucus, will give his first public remarks of the new Congress on how the trade agenda may unfold. Speakers also will explore the policy realities surrounding TPP and Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) and evaluate what these could mean for maximizing commercial potential in the United States and for hemispheric partners across Latin America
