The Fall of Debaltseve: Implications for European Security
 
On February 17, two days after a cease-fire was supposed to go into effect, Russian-backed separatists advanced on the strategic railroad junction of Debaltseve in Ukraine forcing most Ukrainian troops to retreat. 

The Atlantic Council’s Dinu Patriciu Eurasia Center invites you to join a conference call with retired Gen. Wesley Clark, former NATO Supreme Allied Commander and Atlantic Council Board member, on February 20 from 1-2 p.m. EST to discuss the implications of the development at Debaltseve for Ukraine and European security.
