Keynote Speech

Keynote speech delivered by:
Minister Aivaras Abromavičius
Former Minister of Economy and Trade
Government of Ukraine

The International Monetary Fund’s $40 billion aid package is contingent upon the Ukrainian government’s implementation of reforms to strengthen the economy, and western partners have raised questions on whether these reforms will be implemented. The Atlantic Council will bring together European leaders, US policymakers, and top experts in the field to discuss the current state of the economy and to make recommendations on what the international community should do to help Ukraine. The conference will consist of two panels. The first panel will cover business in Donbas, and whether it is possible, useful, or harmful. The second panel will feature a discussion on what the state of Ukraine’s economic recovery looks like. Aivaras Abromavičius, the former Ukraine’s minister of economy and trade will deliver a keynote speech.

We hope you will join us for this timely and important conference.
