Please join the Atlantic Council in cooperation with the Wilson Center for a conversation with The Hon. Kay Bailey Hutchison, Permanent Representative of the United States to NATO, H.E. Sarah MacIntosh, Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom to NATO and H.E. Kerry Buck, Permanent Representative of Canada to NATO on “The Road to NATO’s Brussels Summit”. The event will take place on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 2:30- 4:00 p.m. at the Atlantic Council’s headquarters. 

As the 2018 NATO Brussels Summit approaches, the ambassadors will join us to discuss some of the most pressing issues on the upcoming summit agenda. With the transatlantic community facing a turbulent security environment, the summit will place particular focus on the issues related to collective defense and deterrence, the range of security challenges around NATO’s flanks, and burden sharing. During this event the ambassadors will outline the US, UK and Canadian priorities ahead of the summit while also addressing the significance of inclusive security and the role of women in this space. Amb. Alexander Vershbow, Former NATO Deputy Secretary General will moderate the discussion.
