On Tuesday, February 3, at 12:30 p.m. ET, the Atlantic Council’s Freedom and Prosperity Center will host a fireside chat with Penpa Tsering, the democratically elected leader of the Tibetan government-in-exile.
The discussion will focus on the current conditions facing Tibetans, contemporary threats to Tibetan Buddhism, and the globally relevant themes of religious freedom and democracy.
New policy: In-person attendees will be required to show photo ID upon arrival, and no on-site registration will be permitted. Guests will not be admitted later than twenty minutes after the event’s start time. Registration for this event will close at 5:00 p.m. ET the day prior.
