Leaders will virtually convene at UNGA 75 amid a global public health crisis and economic contraction. This annual gathering must bring new attention to how the global system can help Latin American and Caribbean countries in their recovery.

Join the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center, on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm EDT, for Day 1 of our 2020 UN General Assembly programming to engage with leaders and experts on what should be the road ahead for international cooperation to face the regional threats of the COVID-19 pandemic. In recognition of the launch of the Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center’s new Caribbean program, this event will pay special attention to the unique threats faced by island nations amid the public health and economic crisis.
